Healing feels bad when I chase meters instead of damage events

A lot of new healers panic because they compare raw HPS without checking if cooldowns lined up with actual raid damage. Good healing is often boring before the dangerous timer and decisive during it.

This is why log review should start with deaths and cooldown timing. HPS only matters after you know whether the right buttons were used at the right moments.

Same in arena: healing more into enemy cooldowns is good, healing more into nothing usually just means you fell behind earlier.
