These are the cheapest, easiest power gains in the game - and skipping them is the fastest way to look like a beginner.

- Enchant every slot that can be enchanted (rings, weapon, chest, legs, boots, bracers, cloak).
- Socket a gem into every available socket - a missing gem is free power left on the table.
- Match your enchants and gems to your spec's stat priority.
Consumables for content
- A flask or phial, a food buff, and a weapon oil or rune should be up for every raid and key.
- Carry combat potions and use them in your burst window on important pulls.
- Keep healthstones and healing potions, and have a personal defensive plan.
The habit
- Re-apply flasks and food after wiping or dying - buffs drop on death.
- Keep a stock so you are never the person holding up the group to craft.
